About this Camp
Cambridge International Academy’s Summer Camp Program for ages 4-13 years olds, mixes Academics, Hands-On Learning, and a variety of fun weekly-themed based activities to keep students engaged over the summer months. Our program is designed to mitigate against summer learning loss while tapping into students' knowledge and interests. One day a week we participate on an outdoor adventure.

Programs & Activites
|
Monday-Thursday morning : Language Art & Math
|
Students use Puzzles, Games, Digital Media, Performances and Presentations to engage in fun literacy activities with a weekly focus on Poetry, Vocabulary, Media Literacy and Creative Writing to build a love for reading and writing
|
Students use hands-on manipulatives, math games, and coding to learn the various math strands of the Ontario curriculum such as Number Sense, Algebra, Geometry and Financial Literacy with the objective of sharpening up / enhancing their Numeracy Skills all the while making math learning fun.

Monday -Thursday afternoons:
Coding Week, Art Week, Performing Arts Week, Robotics Week

Students use Scratch and Python to develop their computational thinking skills while removing technical barriers such as intensive typing. Using blocks, students can focus on solving problems and building projects that work.

Students demonstrate their aesthetic appreciation and talents as they delve into art activities including painting on canvas, pottery, tie dye, and crafts.
|
Students will learn skills from the disciplines of arts such as dance, theater, and music. At the end of the week, they will be able to show off either what they have learned or something they excel in themselves.

Our professional robotics facilitator and award winning team members lead students at different levels to develop their technology, engineering, and coding skills as they work on exciting projects.

All day Friday: Outdoor activities
|
One day a week students go on an outdoor adventure such as Tree-Top Trekking, The Metro Zoo, Canada’s Wonderland, Ajax Waterfront Park, Flying Squirrel, the Science Center, and so much more. We ensure that our campers get a well-rounded experience that keeps their minds and bodies active.

Students engage in different activities, such as Board Games, Chess, Basketball, Visit a Local Park and go swimming at the local pool..
